Summary: At the start of the 21st Century, a deadly virus has swept the Earth, wiping out most of its human populace. Now, only an isolated scattering of survivors remain. Among them; a film crew intent on making a documentary about the plague, a married couple who have picked up a mysterious hitchhiker, and a terrified group that has barricaded itself inside an old farm. Unbeknownst to them, the virus has created a breed of marauding zombies with a taste for human flesh. Told from the survivors’ point of view, THE ZOMBIE DIARIES charts the early days of the outbreak through to its devastating aftermath. The unnerving cinema verite style recalls THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, though the film is thematically closer to 28 DAYS LATER.
