This very funny wee film set in the North of England in 1971 is about
a proud Pakistani chip shop owner called George Khan who rules his family with a rod of iron . He thinks he's raising his 7 kids to be
respectable Pakistanis but they all have other ideas because this is
Salford in the early 70's . In the Khan's cramped terrace home , anarchy erupts on a daily basis . East is East is the hilarious story of what happens when 2 cultures collide within 1 family .
